Digg V3 Leaves BetaDigg V3, the new version of the popular news site, was released to the public a few minutes ago. This means that the site is out of beta and you no longer have to log in to use the new categories (or “containers”, as they’re being called). The new version has been a huge success so far: in an interview conducted on July 4th, CEO Jay Adelson revealed that the site now has over 400,000 registered users and the number of submissions per day has more than doubled. This seems to validate the decision to venture into new topics.
